America's award winning trade show - IMEX America - is the exclusive forum for the meetings, events and incentive travel industry in North-America. It is THE essential showcase for convention & visitor bureaus, conference venues and exhibition centers, hotels and hotel chains, event management specialists, PCOs, airlines, car rental and other transportation companies, technology providers, and service suppliers as well as related products, services and technologies.
Increasing in size and scope annually, this event features the largest Hosted Buyer Program in North America and attracts thousands of buyers and exhibitors from the U.S. and around the world. This success of IMEX America and the opportunities of pulsating with serious business are also well known to German companies. The Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Clima Action (BMWK) in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) is supporting German group participation. 32 companies get the opportunity to present their excellent products and offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers from all over the world. The GCB German Convention Bureau, one of the initiating associations for the German participation accompanies the German delegation and provides professional advice. The GCB represents Germany as a leading sustainable destination in the world for meetings and conventions. It supports its members and partners in national and international marketing of their products and services as well as providing wider support for the sector.

German Pavilion
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
